Honor: Exodus 20:12

The command to honor parents is intended for adults, not children. It is a commandment to take care of the elderly, and, more broadly, all those living within the boarders who are not able to take care of themselves. Recorded at our service on 7/11/10 by Jon MacDonald.

The Living Stone and a Chosen People 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by human beings but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house [a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
