Hike to Horse Meadows

On Sunday September 26th…

We are Hiking to Horse Meadows (a really beautiful meadow that makes you forget you’re in Southern California) This Sunday!  The Hike is family friendly and many of us will be bringing our children along for the fun.  For those wishing to go further the trail continues on so feel free to venture as far as you like…

The Hike is about 1 / 1.5 miles.

If you are interested in carpooling…

we will meet at Jon and Lindsey’s around 12:45-1:00 (address will be in the bulletin)

If you plan on driving yourself…

We will be Meeting at the parking lot for the South Fork Trailhead at 2:00.  To get to the parking lot, take highway 38 past Angeles Oaks, then take the Jenks Lake Road West turnoff (to the right).  Head up Jenks Lake Road W 2.5 miles (go past Jenks Lake) and you will see the South Fork trailhead parking on your left.  (For more information, see http://www.sgwa.org/trails2.htm)

Trailhead is about 40 minutes from Redlands.

Important:

People will need to either have an Adventure Pass or get a daily pass for $5 at the Mill Creek Ranger Station.
