Why We Give
In a consumer-driven world, the only way out of the entrapments of money and entitlement is radical generosity. While God has no need for our money, He does want us to be free from the love of money. In God’s Kingdom, the richest is the one who gives the most away and the poorest is the one who hoards the most for him or herself. At Restoration, we encourage giving that is cheerful (2 Corinthians 9:6) and generous (Mark 12:41-44). We give, not out of guilt or obligation, but because so much has been given to us. Thank you for your cheerful tithe and for your tangible support of the vision and ministries of Restoration Covenant Church!
It’s More Than Money
While financial support is very important to the survival of a church, giving generously encompasses much more than simply giving money. The church can play a vital role in the restoration of our world by giving of our time and our talents, as well as our resources. When we shift our focus from passively giving our money, to actively giving of our whole self to those around us, we experience the joy that comes from giving.
Where Our Money Goes
As a church we have a very low overhead. We try to keep the costs of running our church as low as possible. This allows us to budget generously to our local and global communities with our financial resources and our human resources. It allows us to connect each one of us to people in need.  We run a food delivery program for HIV/AIDS patients in San Bernardino. Our dream is to connect as many of our people as possible to places in our community. We thank you so much for your financial support of this ministry. Your generous giving is a part of something much bigger than a church service.
