There is no substitute for a 3-day retreat. We invite you to withdraw for a time of silence, prayer, and rest.

A Retreat (NOT a seminar)

When I reflect on the most profound spiritual experiences of my life, most of them took place on retreat. There is something deeply formative about withdrawing from daily life to spend 48 hours in silence, prayer, and contemplation. I have yet to meet a single person who regretted setting aside time to step away and seek God.

My hope is that every person in our church will participate in a spiritual retreat over the next few years. This year, we plan to offer three retreats so that couples can attend one at a time (retreats are limited to those 18 and older) and so that as many people as possible can find a time that fits their schedule.

The Details

  • Dates: February 15–17 (Presidents’ Day Weekend)

  • Cost: $225, which includes lodging and meals (scholarship funds are available)

  • Focus: This is not a content-heavy seminar, but an invitation into spiritual direction, rest, and silence

  • Structure: The retreat will move through orientation (Sunday), disorientation (Monday), and reorientation (Monday evening and Tuesday morning)

  • Signup: Email Jon to make a deposit!

The desperate need today is not for a greater number of intelligent people, or gifted people, but for deep people.
